{marker} Purchasing a rental property - whether single- or multifamily - is much different than buying a primary residence. You're not only shopping for a property that you think renters will like, but also one that can recoup your investment.

{marker} This is no easy task, and it can take months or even years to find the right property. You'll have to visit several open houses and evaluate more issues at each location. For example, high-end finishes look nice, but will the cost mean charging rent that is too high for the neighborhood?
