Plumbing woes can be a major concern for most homeowners, but many issues are actually easy to fix.

Don't immediately call a plumber if your faucet springs a leak. It might be a sign that the rubber washers inside the faucet assembly have worn out.

Take your faucet apart and bring the rubber washers from inside the handle assembly to a home improvement store. It should have new washers that will stop water loss for much less than a visit from the plumber.
