Make sure you are mostly moved in with a majority of your boxes unpacked. Check that everything is cleaned, especially after your dishes and other belongings have been in boxes.

Decorate your new place with pictures, frames and fixtures. Do not be afraid to check out an antique store in your neighborhood or head to the furniture store and bring something new into the space.
