Hello and welcome to another WIN video blog!

Now that it's getting cold outside, you may be ready to pile on the blankets and wear as many sweaters as possible. Before you settle in and wait for spring, remember to take care of your pipes and prevent them from freezing during especially cold weather.

When temperatures drop well below freezing, locate faucets that share an exterior wall and keep them running. There's no need to use too much water - a few drops per minute will prevent water from freezing.

Make sure you and your family knows where the water shutoff valve is located. If a pipe bursts, turning off the water will minimize any damage to your home.

Thanks for watching!
