Use science for better results in the garden

Hello and welcome to another WIN video blog!

Even if you didn't pay attention in biology class, you can still grow a stunning garden full of flowers, fruits and veggies. Just keep some basic tips in mind when caring for your plants.

Although many plants bloom in the spring, they often require planting in the winter. Make a note of when to plant certain seeds and keep track to be ready for them a few months later.

Soil temperature is a key factor in plant growth that's often forgotten. Use a thermometer to be sure your soil is the right condition for whatever you plan on growing.
